This is my third attempt at maintaining a blog. The first was successful, the second, well, not so much. It still exists out there (http://seattleista.blogspot.com/). Feel free to check it out, it's a quick read, that's for sure.
I don't really know why I am starting this blog. I do know that writing calls to me, maybe the way playing music calls to musicians. At night I fall asleep to the voices of characters in books I will probably never write. This is a place where I can write whatever I want when I feel like it. Some of it might be purely fictional, some might be a combination of fiction and reality. Some of it might be about you, but I promise not to expose your true identity.
In the past I have disappointed followers by not keeping up a decent flow of posts. I make no promises about this blog. But, who knows, maybe having the freedom to do whatever I want with this space will make me want to use it more often than the others.
Oh, before I go you probably want to know what the deal is with the name. There's no deep meaning in it. It was inspired by a song that sort of popped into my head called Story About a Girl, by Our Lady Peace. It's off the album Gravity which is an album that has been there for me during good times and bad for about the last decade. The blog title Story About a Girl was already taken, so I just slipped in the Seattle part.
